The West Michigan Health Careers Council works to attract, develop and retain health care talent.
OUR MISSION
The mission of the West Michigan Health Careers Council (WMHCC) is to provide an employer-led, collaborative council of health care employers, educators, workforce development and economic development organizations working together to meet West Michigan’s healthcare talent needs.
OUR MEMBERS
In collaboration with existing local resources, WMHCC plans to encourage health care careers, work in talent development and retention, and promote healthcare outreach.
The council works to identify and coordinate training demand with supply to attract, develop, and retain talent. The focus of outreach is to encourage employers and groups that serve employers to participate in Health Career Pathways projects.
